# On-Chain Private Sales

An end-to-end on-chain solution for projects to facilitate sales rounds. The offering targets private or whitelisted buyers. Projects can then choose to set different parameters for these sales rounds such as price, vesting, potential secondary market and buybacks. Projects using this offering can raise funds without immediate sell pressure.

After the project decides to set up a round of On-Chain Private Sales, OS Pro would provide the values to enter to write a smart contract including a list of whitelisted addresses. Then, these whitelisted users can opt to deposit tokens to take part in these sales. If there is a buy-back guarantee, part of the deposit will go to our collateral escrow contract and rest, minus fees, will go to the project, otherwise, all of the proceeds, minus fees, would go to the project.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://doc.openswap.xyz/os-pro/os-pro-offerings/on-chain-private-sales.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
